Plaid Man

Are we called "patients" because we'll sit quietly for over an hour waiting to see the doctor ? Plaid man and I were the only ones I think who enjoyed ourselves, he was throughly engrossed in his magazine and never once noticed my sketching him. Thanks for being oblivious plaid man, sorry I didn't get to finish your hand, one of the few times I really wanted to wait longer but the nurse called my name !

Curious About

Font Aid III "Fleurons of Hope"

The "Font Aid III" typeface "Fleurons of Hope" is now available at "My Fonts". Those reading this that participate in "Illustration Friday" will recognize Penelope and Elena on the list of contributors. Congratulations guys, that's so awesome to be part of such a wonderful effort to help others !

The special Tsunami Rebuilding Issue of "Building Letters" (which should be available at the end of March) will also include this font with the magazine.

Just Bugs and a Bloom

It was declared "Devoid of Concept" week in my neck of the woods, so to mark the occasion I present for this week's "Illustration Friday" this drawing of. . . just bugs and a bloom.

Fragile Beauty

If you notice the time this drawing was posted, you'll understand why the color I intended to add to my little fragile beauty is presently missing. Poor dear, colorless and frail, sorry, but it's the only way I could meet "Illustration Friday" new Thursday deadline. Lack of color is only temporary I promise, soon as I get some sleep, coloring will commence !

Art Therapy

I'm making progress. In therapy today I managed to draw ice cream falling from the cone. I don't know that I'll ever work up to showing it hit the ground though. Too much trauma that, so I did this instead.
