Cling

Hello to all Illustration Friday visitors ! This is my first entry in Penelope's illustration group and I've been working (playing ?) hard to create a good first impression. I have 2 versions of "cling" to share, here is the first one

This was inspired from an early entry in Penelope's blog when she wrote that "this website and doing illustration is a dream come true for me" and that it felt "good to turn something I dreamt into a reality." In short, cling to your dreams ! Thanks Penelope, I'm trying to learn from your example !

And here is my second version that expanded on that idea by incorporating a quote by E. B. White

I really liked the idea of emphasizing the words "dream" and "all over the place" so that they would read together as a sentence, but I don't think I was very successful. I may continue to play with this and see if I can make it work better. Anyway see you next week, I had alot of fun doing this !
