travel sketchbook

Hi friends who visit here, I'm back from my trip to Boston and New York! I had an unbelievably wonderful time because of my good friend Ronda who planned it all, 7 museums (Boston Museum of Fine Art, Frick Collection, MoMA, American Folk Art Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art, Brooklyn Museum, Asia Society) 5 concerts (Yo-Yo Ma x3, Chris Thile, Elvis Costello) 1.5 plays (half of Tarzan, we left, it was that bad and Faith Healer), much good food (Telepan and Azure) 1 garden (Brooklyn Botanic Gardens), seeing two friends (Hi Maryann and Amanda, great to meet you Dede!) plus a bit of shopping in between. Phew, I'm exhausted!

Some pages from my travel sketchbook, the hotel room in Boston, a pre-concert talk on John Adams at Lincoln Center, and a sketch of the symphony as they played "Naive and Sentimental Music" by John Adams, I loved it!
