Alone on the Train

I've been debating whether to hurriedly try to whip out a new drawing for my "Illustration Friday" submission this week or just use this rendering I did of my friend Ronda and me traveling home from New York by train (those are my feet on the seat beside her). After considering that since last Friday I have traveled to New York, seen three Broadway shows, visited four museums, eaten out at four restaurants, attended one Carnegie Hall concert, met Jason Bateman and had minor surgery, I decided that pooped and in need of drugs wins out over scurrying to create something new. So hoping this will do, especially as there were no other passengers in the car with us, we had it "alone" to ourselves !

The Duduk Player

The above is the only other drawing I was able to manage when at Carnegie Hall on Sunday. It is of Gevorg Dabaghyan, one of the musicians in Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble, playing a "duduk".
