musical monday at Maymont

a very small crowd willing to brave the heat to hear the music at Maymont tonight, drawing helped me forget how hot it was, hope playing did the same for the dedicated musicians!

not a lucky ducky

went to the Duck Race (which benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters) on Brown's Island today, I was hoping to win the grand prize, a car, so I'd have something to remember the day by, just in case I did this drawing of it, turns out that was a good thing.

Special Guest

It's difficult to draw a crowd! So when Susan Greenbaum came to sing today, I was only able to sketch a small portion of the room, I didn't even include all the people at this one table, too bad 'cause I'd have liked to have conveyed how happy everyone was to have her here, the room was packed!
