High Tea

three pages photoshopped together to get the whole scene but I think I try for too much! even so 3 folks are missing, much of the table missing too, so pretty with wonderful plates of cookies (English biscuits), crumpets with jam, finger sandwiches, triffle for dessert and more, I can only show how it looked but not say how it tasted as I didn't even eat a thing!

friends

a very sweet lady died today, she was always very kind and supportive and did all that she could to help me with any thing I might need to continue in my artistic studies, I'll be taking two classes starting in February because of her efforts, in fact I think I owe all of my art education to her, I hope she knew how grateful I am, I think she did, I'll miss the sound of her voice, I'll miss her, thank you Pat, these drawings in a way are as much her work as mine and are in memory of her.

Ronda, Edgar and Chris
lots of music in D.C. on Saturday, first to the movie theater to see a live broadcast from The Metropolitan Opera of Tan Dun's The Last Emperor then quick to our hotel to check in and head back out to George Mason University to see Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile together in concert.
Here a sketch of Ronda waiting before the doors opened.
Edgar on bass and Chris on mandolin.
Two sketches of Edgar, Chris wiggled more and was drawn less.
a Bach piece, played in E-major, "for the common good".
