Antique Statues
I went to the "The Richmond Academy of Medicine Alliance Foundation's 44th Benefit Antiques & Fine Arts Show" on Friday and fell in love with these statues. I couldn't afford them but at least I could bring them home in a drawing.

Bleak House
The third episode of Charles Dickens's "Bleak House" aired tonight on PBS and as I watched the program I tried to sketch the characters faces. Pictured are Mr. Tulkinghorn, Lady Dedlock, Guppy, Esther Summerson, Richard Carstone, Krook and Smallweed (Dickens created such wonderful characters and gave them such marvelous names!) This has been a fun drawing exercise and in addition to getting me to look more closely at faces, it's also been helpful to remember who's who as there is a total of 41 characters in the story!(click imagine for larger view)
